Asagao Wrap Knitting Pattern
Named for the Japanese form of the Morning Glory, this wrap is all about the twining cables and twisted stitches that work their way from end to end.
A classic rectangular stole worked in a heavier weight yarn than one would usually use for lacy cables, this stole is complex, but will work up quickly due to the weight.
Two complimentary cables are worked side-by-side in stripes on a reverse stockinette background, with seed stitch borders up each side to keep the design from rolling in.
This design will give you a hug and keep you warm.
If you are feeling adventurous, why not double the width and make a cozy blanket of it? Just remember to buy double the yarn ;-).
